Very strange seeing Brooklyn and Riverview in the same district, while Brooklyn/North Riverside and Durkeeville are sliced in half. Riverside in three districts, Fort Caroline and Oceanway in the same district. I hope they go back to the drawing board!

Surprise! The new maps being discussed now have the Historic Springfield neighborhood split down middle along Pearl Street.

You'll be hard pressed to find a more compact neighborhood with better defined borders, and yet.....

If they come before the court with inadequate maps it may make the court focus more on maps from the plaintiffs.  City Council should be careful what they wish for.

Lol, I struggle to find why this is so difficult. Unfortunately, when politics are involved, all logic goes out of the window.

Everything else aside, Pearl is hardly the middle of Springfield.
