GRAND JEWEL OF DOWNTOWN MOVES FORWARD FOR NEGOTIATIONS

Stumbled on this via Yahoo News a few minutes ago. If negotiations move forward, we will have a new skyscraper/high rise downtown, something we haven't seen in quite some time. Link is below. Enjoy.

I like the idea of a tall tower within an open, park-like space. Would definitely help ticket sales at the Symphony!

Would it LOL? Let's see if JACKSONVILLE will bite. Skyline will look more dramatic with the ancient Wells Fargo building with its flaired base with this new tower, only about 50 feet shorter than Wells Fargo also flaired at the base. I hope things keep moving, economy don't tank, and our enemies and adversaries don't turn off our lights or sucker punch us; i.e., I hope we get to enjoy all of this momentum in our Urban Core.
