I have learned that the church across the street from Freedom Park - Highlands Presbyterian - will allow people going to the celebration to park there.
Nice! I'm sorry I won't be able to attend this weekend's activities. It was fun working with the community to design the heritage markers. We were able to find a lot of great historic photos and expose several overlooked community stories and sites. I plan to check out the space next week.
Not sure if you are aware, but American Queen Voyages features a "Gullah Geechee Experience" Cruise on their line up. Predominantly low country destinations, Charleston, Beaufort, Savannah, Brunswick, St Augustine, West Palm/Freeport.
Nice! I did not know. I'll have to take a closer look!
