Very nice look back.
Indeed.  Can anyone make out the sign in the first photograph?  "Dr. Miller's Sanitorium"?

I knew an Arlington " Pioneer Developer", Willie Mick.
Poignant conversations about how the place was built....... and where it was headed.

Pete Loftin. Boat dealer adjacent to the " expressway ".
Pete commanded great presence with the Jacksonville waterfront and boating community. Even nationwide marine industry influence.
Dealership property Gone soon after Pete's death.
Key employees ended up in Orange Park.
