Thanks for sharing. These women deserve our thanks for their patriotism and sacrifice to support the war effort. Another part of the Greatest Generation. Love seeing the dedication reflected in their faces and body language in the photos. No doubt, they could hold their own with, or exceed, the talents of any male mechanics or support team members.
Sad to think that likely almost all of those in the photos have passed on, possibly without full appreciation for their contributions during their lifetimes. Glad we could do so in some small way with this tribute.
