Looks like a good attempt by DVI to activate the old Landing site. Also should be a good test run to find out what does/doesn't work on the site and help guide the redesign of the space. Will be interested to see what kind of headliners they are able to get.

"Coming this spring, enjoy a free, four-week concert series on Downtown Jacksonville's scenic riverfront. National headliners and local and regional openers to be announced. Browse the Small Business & Artist Market, enjoy onsite food trucks and bars with local craft beer and spirits."
"onsite food trucks and bars"..... you mean like the restaurants and bars that were already there before the demolition? We paid $25M for food trucks and beer tents.

Well... the food truck eats are much more palatable than what passed for food at the Landing

True story. And the sad part is, the food trucks wouldn't have to even be very good to accomplish that feat!
First thing my wife said... Oh great... portapotties. ;D

Just put them along the edge of the Riverwalk - no need to pump them out. What? Oh, we stopped doing that years ago? Never mind.

except of course that the Landing regularly hosted food truck rallies
nvm that the Landing also had live music every week - and hosted concert series (often country)
There is something soothing about spreading a blanket on the ground after a solid week of rain. Thanks Lenny!
