In the Bartram Park area of Jacksonville's Southside, Brooks Rehabilitation has begun construction on its second inpatient rehabilitation hospital.

The $37 million, 60-bed hospital is being built on a 115-acre campus adjacent to Interstate 95 that already houses skilled nursing and assisted-living facilities and two memory-care homes.

That's what it looks like?

Man, Lot J has really screwed up my perception of how much construction projects cost.

Although, I guess that's because it's a rehab hospital. The Ascension project in St. Johns County is $115 million for about 64 beds.

I'm sure this will be nice, it's a good add for the area.
