What is now recognized as the neighborhood of San Jose, 4.5 miles south of Jacksonville, was originally envisioned to be a grand master-planned development.

It's also a quiet area for some of Jacksonville's prominent developers to call home. The Hakimians and Skinners houses are in the photo tour.
FYI, there was a model "home" built to pre-sell the condos in the high rise at the end of University Blvd. W at San Jose in Lakewood (aka 6000 on the River). It was relocated to the corner of San Jose and Almours Drive and became the home in your picture #18. Hence, the rectangular shape before modifications.
As evidence, note that in the tax records, 6000 on the River was finished in 1981 and this house was "built" in 1982 upon the completion of the high rise.
