This should be a nice addition to the JRTC:
QuoteFleming Island-based Crazy Beans Coffee is planning a breakfast and lunch cafe on the ground floor of the Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center in LaVilla.
The shop would be the chain's second in Northeast Florida. The first is at 1545 County Road 220 in Fleming Island.
Erika Cline, former owner of Bleu Chocolat Cafe in Springfield, is the shop's general manager. She could not be reached for comment.

Best of luck to them. Curious location.
^They'd have a captive audience between transit users and JTA employees. Think of it as the cafe associated with most office buildings of decent size.

Guess you should call the 200 or so cafes located inside office buildings around town and tell them what a huge financial mistake they have made for their families.
Seems like one of those good, simple improvements. Best of luck to them.
It has the potential to be a great simple improvement. There is literally no presence of retail/dining in that area of LaVilla, yet hundreds of apartments have been completed there in the last two or three years, with more on the way. Hopefully this will be integrated with outdoor seating in the empty courtyard space on LaVilla Center Drive, between Forsyth and Bay Streets. The fact that it is a local minority owned business in a historically African-American community makes it even better, IMO. Good luck to them!
