Title: Five aviation facts about Jacksonville's past
Post by: bl8jaxnative on November 20, 2020, 10:50:53 AM

Love this piece.  Thank you.

Just a minor not, Northwest Orient was never big in Detroit.  That didn't happen until after it merged with Republic + became Northwest.

That is, Republic was big in Detroit ( and Memphis ).

In fact, back in the day, after the merger you could hit some old Republic destinations like Huntsville and the folks would still be wearing their Republic uniforms.  Or so I hear from others.  Not quite that old.  :)
