Title: House in Riverside that was moved on river?
Post by: duvaltilidie on November 01, 2020, 08:00:13 PM
Many years ago, I remember reading about the house moved along the canal by Mom's Park and set up.. sideways, I believe? I'm perfectly content if someone knows the link to that story and closes or moves this thread. I tried searching for half an hour and couldn't find anything in the archives.

Probably the Cummer house on Riverside Ave.  Also once home to Jacksonville's most infamous pediatric dentist.

Yesss, that's it. Thank you so much, y'all. I was at Mom's Park yesterday with a friend trying to figure out which house it was and couldn't find a single thing online about it.

And in more recent history, the home was owned by this dentist.

Basically, none of us are adding anything of value at this point, as acme54321 pretty much resolved this thread with his post.

No, acme54321 answered first. They you, Josh and I all piled on and 'added' information that had basically already been given by acme54321.  ;)
