Lake, another great story adding to Jacksonville's rich, but little known, and even less appreciated, history.
I hope you can find a vehicle at some point that would set historic markers throughout the City and the region highlighting the history you present here regularly. If you go to states up north, they are "littered" with historic markers, but not so much in these parts.

Maybe if we make a point to put some of those markers in front of historic buildings, there would be greater pause to tear them down.
