The effects of the things from 80 years ago haven't gone away. Those factors contribute to the economic conditions today of downtown, westside, northside, and Arlington neighborhoods as well as the growth of places like St. Johns County. The game was rigged then and because it's never been truly rebalanced, the game is still rigged in 2010 and 2020.
They're still naming neighborhoods "Plantation" Oaks or whatever in St. John's county.

They actually renamed Silverleaf Plantation to just Silverleaf here, that was interesting.

Something that happened 4 generations ago is not _evidence_ of it happening today.
^The results would be and still contribute to the economic conditions of the surrounding area. Even today, living on Goodwin and Post in Riverside is significantly different than Goodwin and Edison Street in North Riverside.
And that's the problem, y'll are claiming what is there is __THEEEEEE__ result. It's one of 20-someting factors. A part but far, far, far, far from the whole picture.

So here some are pontificating on the horrible Suburb. In our region, the Edge City Suburbs a needed facility for alternative to Duval, militant anti Duval outlook embedded within surrounding countries a driver for Suburban expansion.
Not to mention Suburban planning and expansion within Duval.
Some were in angst and " Activist" fighting the development trend decades ago.
