Nice photos Dan... :)
I was there Saturday. How about that crappy weather? Overall, though, I had a good time and am glad the rain held off. I bet Sunday's attendees had an amazing time though.
Many of the performers had to call audibles due to the low ceiling we had on Saturday.
And I had no idea on the numbers that were in attendance. 250K?!? WOW!
sweet pics
good job
who took these? Lake? good photos.
i was across the river from NAS and saw all the explosions...was wondering how they were doing that.
Dan. He did a great job.
What an awesome time on a perfect fall Sunday afternoon - There were HUNDREDS of boats on the water & I saw now real logistical or safety concerns. Pretty unique experience.

Did the game have a flyover? Who? Seems like the timing could have been perfect to show off the Navy's Blues.
OCKLAWAHA
The flyover was from an F-16, F-15 and P-51....
The same as picture #5
It was pretty cool to see them together, although they flew pretty slow so the p-51 could keep up.
I'm suprised I didn't see you there Dan, great photos.
There were at least 100k there on saturday and the weather (although overcast) kept things bearable, IMO. When the sun came out as the Blue Angels were wrapping up, it was getting pretty hot quick.
The Masters of Mahem group was the best show. The shockwave from those explosions was awesome!
GORGEOUS!
Im making some of these pix wallpapers for my cell!
EXCELLENT!

The angels did a fly-by right after the anthem, but you had to be paying attention to see them. Pretty obvious what they were trying to do, but they weren't close enough to really hear them over the crowd noise.
I was hoping the team could coordinate something like that more effectively, but c'est la vie.
Beautiful photos!! Great job! That's what makes this site so interesting.
Hey guys, I figured I post up a few of my shots from the Airshow. The weather was just awful for photography, but I gave my best effort. :-\ I struggled to do a little post processing, and it's pretty obvious from the shots. But they may give some more perspective for the folks that didn't get to make it out there on either day. Full album is HERE (http://public.fotki.com/kramer2k/2008-nas-jax-airshow/). :)

;) Nice shots and great shots of downtown in the background.
Great shots!!!
I guess its safe to say that the military still has money to burn! That's Jax through and through! Any guesses on what the Angels' annual budget is these days. Just curious.
Millitary as largest socialist entity is burning more money then entire welfare in world.
Imagine how much money goes for NASA to discover water on Mars or all those super fancy weapons that still don't let us win against Al Qaida.
You two are a couple of winners. (http://www.v6performance.net/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes2.gif)
Way to turn an otherwise positive experience for many into a crapfest. (http://www.v6performance.net/forums/images/smilies/blah.gif) Take it elsewhere.

Donde estan los moderators?
I really wish I'd have been in town to attend the air show. Looks like great times were had by all. And yes, awesome pictures provided. Thanks to all who contributed those.
They haven't broken any forumn rules.
Do the Thunderbirds ever do a show with the Blue Angles?
Awesome pics! Here are some of mine from Sunday so you can see how much the weather changed overnight.

I'm not much of a photographer but I think you can still see how beautiful it was out there. Even though I was dead tired, we had a blast. Nothing like an F-16 doing a speed run right in front of you to wake you up.

Generally not... unless it is some kind of national event. (I cant think of what that would be) Oshkosh airshow maybe???
I'd say you did pretty well thekillingwax. Great shots!
