Thanks for the updates!

For anyone wondering what the Southbank apartment site looks like, here's a recent view

What's the latest on San Marco Publix and The District?   "Waiting on the economy" looking a little foolish right now.

Haha, we were walking by the old Southside generating station site today and I asked my wife what the odds are we will ever see anything built there ::)

The District sounded far fetched and highly conceptual well before COVID-19. This change of economic events certainly isn't helping make it any more realistic. On the other hand, Publix may be a winner in all of this. However, they aren't the developer of the San Marco project.

Good to see projects moving forward. I noticed on the link given in the story, the description of the Southbank apartments show a different design and an extra story added, for total of 8 stories. I think the new design looks better than what's been shown up 'til now.

I thought the same. That rendering definitely looks better than those we've seen before.

It looks like there will be an increase of space between the Everbank building and Alfred Dupont Place.  Is there a plan to actually enhance that area?  The rendering looks like there will just be a strip of grass covering the additional space.  This was already a decent sized plaza.  Now it could include food truck parking with outdoor dining, public art, or something beyond a strip of grass.

I suspect the empty retail spot in the TIAA Bank building will finally be leased. With the increased visibility and exposure to FIS's traffic, I can see that space becoming a coffee shop or restaurant with outdoor seating as soon as the FIS project is complete.

Agreed. Given that the FIS side won't be that active (interesting scenery but no shops and no people outside of bankers hours, this is the only hope of after 5PM activity.

Additionally, one thing DIA has been doing well is requiring the new garages be open to the public after 5PM and on weekends. It solves the parking issue too.
