Nice article! How is "Faubourg Marigny" pronounced, please? The neighborhood looks familiar; I think I was there 40+ years ago on a whirlwind weekend trip (literally - a friend had to visit a family member who was not well and asked me to go with).

I've been there a few times lately and the Marigny is so much better than Bourbon Street. Lots of great venues and jazz clubs. i also went to an art market that also had great food and drinks. Many areas in Jax have the potential to be something similar, but just haven't quite made it there.
Lake, thanks for the phonetic pronunciation.
