Though it's depressing to see articles about cities like Pensacola and Fort Myers revitalizing their downtowns while Jacksonville still struggles, I do think it's encouraging to see how much progress can be made in such a relatively short amount of time by having good leadership, a smart plan, focusing on one area, and getting the small things right.
