JEA has crimestopped the wrongthink off of its website by sending a page touting the 'Benefits of Public Power' down the memory hole. As surely as Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia, that page has been replaced with a doublespeak-laden treatise presenting a sale of the public utility as the only viable 'Path to a Promising Future'. Recapitalization is doubleplusgood!

This is a great article in the vein of Nate Monroe or Mark Woods.  Love the satire.  It should be sent to the Times Union as an op-ed piece to get wider exposure.

Really amazing how the Mayor and his cronies think they are pulling the wool over the taxpayers eyes.  More amazing is the lack of a backbone by the City Council to stand in his way.  But, hey, the razzle dazzle worked to get through the fake pension reform so let's try it again (school referendum)... and again (JEA sale)...and again (handouts for lot J and demo of downtown landmarks).
