Great project.

Yeah, that whole strip on Bay that includes what was going to be Levels is ripe for a refresh.  Who wants a Dive Bar across the street from a fancy new convention center (or hotel)?

Uh, people who love dive bars.  The Live Bar is more of an intermittent night club.  The article sez the building that was going to be "Levels" will be an entertainment venue.  Pretty vague.

Keg and Coin always seems to be packed in Riverside.

I think other places are starting to notice that and try to break into that market. A barcade is going up near 5 Points, as well, I think it's called Recroom?

I'll give 'em a try, but Keg n Coin has been a favorite of mine ever since it was still Beer:30. Plus, I live just a few blocks from it...

I do not think that is being pursued anymore, it's almost like they didn't realize 'Keg and Coin' was up and running when they came up with that idea.

Past couple of days I've gone out there it looks like it's still happening, I'll have to do some window peeking next time I ride my bike over to 5 Points. I believe the sign on the storefront was erected within the last couple of weeks.

Rec Room is moving forward as of a few weeks ago.

The sign was painted last week. The construction update captures them in the act.

There are some folks considering the same idea for Murray Hill, so clearly people believe there's demand despite close proximity.

I can't wait for these other places to open.  On Fridays and Saturdays you can't find an open game at Keg 'n Coin.  Hopefully Joystick opens early so I can blow off some steam on my lunch break by smashing buildings in Rampage World Tour.

The owners of a Murray Hillbilly, a vegan food truck-turning-brick and mortar in Murray Hill, are the folks in question (I believe). They posted in a thread on the Murray Hill board that they intend to have pinball and arcade machines in the new location.

GLHF/Chicago Pizza should be reopening soon (was in the space last night)... in case you need a lunchtime distraction over the next 12 months it will take to renovate the Forsyth building :)

Can we talk about how cool this place looks.

Orlando location has a GOONIES LOUNGE.

The video makes it look cool. My actual experience there at a bachelor party was pretty mediocre. Hopefully Joysticks in Jacksonville will be better.

Found out today that Jacksonville locations for Joysticks and Mathers have been put on hiatus (not necessarily canceled, just deprioritized in favor of other opportunities in Orlando) by the developers.

Wouldn't look for either to start any time soon.

They are still working somewhat actively on a bar in a small building near the Mathers location.
