Title: Murray Hillbilly opening brick and mortar location
Post by: SoudNoises on September 04, 2018, 03:18:59 PM
The vegan food truck is moving into the space formerly occupied by Food Addictz (and the ghost burger mural), according to their Instagram.

Is Food Addictz officially closed? I saw a "new hours" sign last week. But I feel like they have never had consistent hours and never looked busy, at all.

We did get the spot and I plan on getting it open very soon.
My wife and I have a lot of cool ideas and it's going to be an awesome hangout spot :)

Oh, how cool, you're a member on the forum, too!

Looking forward to eating at your new location, I'll have to scope out the food truck in the meantime. Maybe I'll see you this week!

That is great news. Please do something with the interior. That location has potential but the prior occupant did not have a very welcome interior and they were never open at the posted hours.

Looking forward to updates.

I went there a few weeks back with my wife, and some friends.

The space is small but had a good crowd. A good mix of people too.

While it is vegan (and I believe gluten free), I would not call it healthy necessarily.

There did seem to be an abundance of fried food on the menu. In fact, the restaurant had a greasy smell. What we had was very good. We will definitely go back.

I'm not vegan but like supporting local businesses, so I stopped by there on Saturday while giving a friend a neighborhood tour. The chili, fried cauliflower and collard kale greens were pretty good.

Will soon return to Murray Hill with family that used to live there.....some interest in Food Place/ Recent Openings...closings..... but main focus will be to see how the house, street and area 'feels' after Two Decades.
