Title: Murder on a Sunday Morning
Post by: KenFSU on June 24, 2018, 12:51:54 AM
Unless you've been living under a rock, you probably know that Netflix's version of the true crime documentary series The Staircase has been this one of this summer's biggest pop culture phenomenons.

What's lesser known is that the team behind the Staircase had first produced a documentary about a murder here in Jacksonville.

If you haven't seen Murder on a Sunday Morning, it's a pretty horrifying look at early 2000s Jacksonville.

Highly recommended, though not for the faint of heart.

I remember this story.  Those detectives should have been fired and ineligible for a pension.

This was also back when the public defender's office had some really good lawyers working there. Before Matt Shirk took over.
