Title: RIP Salem Salem
Post by: Tacachale on May 29, 2018, 01:25:50 PM
I just heard that Salem Salem has passed away. Salem was a long-time public servant who worked for the FDOT for 30 years and was then made Director of Public Works under Mayor Tommy Hazouri. He continued working on engineering projects after his retirement. He was very well liked and respected in the public service and will be missed.

R.I.P. Salem.  An honorable, friendly, and loyal man.

Condolences to his family.  I worked with him while at a couple different agencies, both in his FDOT role and his consultant role - usually when he called looking for information, which I was usually able to find for him.
