Title: Proposed Development - Near San Pablo
Post by: Charles Hunter on May 15, 2018, 10:36:54 AM
I just got a forwarded email through the Arlington-Beaches CPAC from Councilman Aaron Bowman.
Councilman Bowman will hold a public meeting at Alimacani Elementary on May 23rd at 5:30 PM to discuss a proposed (but not filed) rezoning of 14.7 acres from Rural Residential to PUD to allow 287 multifamily units.  The property is on the north side of Atlantic Boulevard, between San Pablo and the Intracoastal.  More specifically, it is between the equipment rental place and American Transmission, opposite Sunnyside Drive.

Can't figure out how to 'attach' the email, or link to his link to C/m Bowman's Facebook page.

Isn't that Moody's old shipyard? Looks like it has been cleaned up quite a bit.  I wonder about soil contamination.

Not sure, but I think this is west of the old shipyard. There is a different development planned for the site on the water, and there has been sporadic activity on that site over the last few months.
