Title: King Street Redesign?
Post by: Non-RedNeck Westsider on May 12, 2018, 11:21:11 AM
I've been noticing some utility work on and off for the past couple months, but on Friday taking the kids to school, everything looked normal,  and on the way home after picking them up, all of the trees had been cut down with enough stump left to come pull them completely.

It appears they're redesigning the entire street, but I don't remember reading anything about it.

What's the plan?

The trees are being replaced.

I hope they use some palm trees. Too many oaks and pines in this big Florida city. There are some beautiful old stately Canary Island Date Palms just south of  I-10 on King St that could use some company.
