Define your customer well before seeking funding. Is this going to be a space people can use for weddings or other parties? Is the use of the space defined as sit down meal, giant inflatable bounce house or panic rooms etc.? Will you be selling food or other products as part of the space use? I would definitely advise you have some plan for marketing to your customer early in the process. Attracting customers will likely start evolving everything else based on what they ask for. A marketing plan simple or extravagant will keep your business focused. The activity of soliciting customers forces everything else to get done.
