Located just northeast of Downtown Orlando, Mills 50 was recently recognized as one of the top 12 neighborhoods across America about to get crazy popular.

My favorite part of Orlando! I've always called it Colonialtown lol. What are the plans through the Main Streets program?

Yes, much of the neighborhood surrounding the commercial strip is Colonialtown. Mills 50 is what they're calling the commercial strip these days. Here's a list of accomplishments they achieved in 2016:

Since they're FDOT streets, their hands are pretty tied, but that area would look completely different and be much safer for pedestrians if they had medians, mid-block crossings, and bulb-outs at intersection corners.

Thanks. Yeah I saw that on their website. Seems to be mostly marketing accomplishments.

The typical multi-modal streetscape makeover would be awesome.
