Title: The Rail Yard District Formed
Post by: Jax Farmers Market on October 27, 2017, 07:13:38 PM
Jacksonville Farmers Market is proud to share the formation of the up & coming Rail Yard District (follow at  https://www.facebook.com/RailYardDistrictJax/ (https://www.facebook.com/RailYardDistrictJax/)). Dozens of businesses, from mom & pops to multinational corporations, have already participated in our early stages.

This is an historic 4 square mile area surrounding JFM that is home to numerous tourist attractions (e.g. JFM, Eco Relics, Engine 15 Brewing Downtown Tap Room & Biergarten, The Glass Factory, Battalion Airsoft Arena, Rethreaded, Mixon Studios & Jax Paddle Sports with more on the way).

The Rail Yard District hosts over 350 businesses with 7,000+ employees & $2.5+ billion in revenues.

The district boundaries are from I-10, north to Kings Road (US 1) and I-95, west to Huron Street. Major avenues include portions of Stockton & King Streets, McDuff Ave., W. Beaver St., Myrtle & Edison Aves., Kings Road, Dennis & Forest Streets).

Thanks to LISC Jacksonville and Councilman Garrett Dennis for all their support in creating this organization and for Ennis Davis, Mike Field & Metro Jacksonville for sharing our progress over the last several months.  We look forward to many exciting developments going forward!

Sounds great! I like the name Rail Yard District but I think the logo needs a change it's too generic and looks clip art-ish I understand this the just the beginning for you guys so I hope I didn't come off as rude just wanted to give a friendly suggestion. :D

Awesome!
I hope the momentum from Murray Hill, Riverside and the New rail district will share some of their love with the mcduff strip.
