Title: Cowford Chophouse vs. JEA

Interesting story.

I'd pull some quotes, but I'm on mobile:

Hopefully, there will be some recourse for Cowford. We have to stop getting in the way of progress for downtown.

I couldn't really tell from the article, is this going to prevent them from opening?

Truly reflects the "disinvestment" we have made publicly in the downtown.

Here is a good example of JEA at work, the water/sewer division arguing with the power division (Braveheart style)

Then Mayor (William Wallace) Curry walks in,  "You think the ratepayers exist to provide you with authority, I say the ratepayers pay you to provide a service".

Seems like Kerri Stewart is on the detriment side of a lot of things...

Loved seeing all those JEA "workers" in the top 10 highest paid public officials in Jacksonville, last weeks JBJ. Hey, Kerri was in there too.

QuoteIt caused the Bostwick building's foundation to be compromised due to a pump in the vault pumping the silt from underneath the building into the storm drain.

How does an electrical vault pump silt into a storm drain? I believe these are two separate systems, COJ owns the storm sewer and JEA owns the electrical vault.
