QuoteNeptune Beach-based Southern Grounds is bringing its direct trade coffee, baked goods, bread and sandwiches to San Marco.
Owner Mark Janasik said he was attracted to the pedestrian and pet-friendly aspect of San Marco.
"We're a neighborhood coffee shop in Neptune Beach. The site was conducive to the concept and we've become the heart of the town," he said. "San Marco has the same neighborly feel, a historical significance and a strong sense of community, very similar to what we've found in Neptune Beach."
Southern Grounds will span 3,600 square feet at 1617 Atlantic Blvd.
