What has happened to these benches? Did someone steal them?

It could be that someone stole them. More likely that the city took them because of the new shelters. The one in front of Taco Bell is ridiculous to remove though. It can be demeaning enough waiting for the bus in the sun and the heat nut to have to do it standing or sitting in the grass in front of Taco bell? c'mon

I knew a contractor that was contracting with several cities throughout Florida for bus benches and shelters. He'd retain ownership of the items and "rent them" to the city. He'd then sell advertising space on the bench.  Perhaps this was the case here and the contract ran out. ?.?
