AIA Jacksonville Vision Meets Opportunity

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Jacksonville's Downtown Initiatives Committee has a vision for the urban riverfront and future USS Adams site.  Here's a brief video that explains what they have in mind.  Let us know what you think!

This will be yet again another budget burden for Jacksonville.  Why are we getting this?  The long term costing will be unaffordable and the taxpayers will yet again be screwed!

All of that aside, there is no way that the maintenance of this ship is going to get even close to properly funded as time goes on.  The only ships that pull enough people either have really big guns on the deck, a flight deck, or go underwater.  No one really cares about a dime a dozen missile destroyer.
