JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Watco Cos. has expanded its rail operations to the Sunshine State with the launch of its Jacksonville Port Terminal Railroad. The 10-mile terminal railroad is handling local switching operations for the Jacksonville Port Authority.
Operating Monday through Friday, the railroad switches intermodal, chemical, pulp and paper, and agricultural rail traffic through its interchanges with CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern.
The railroad employs four workers, including a general manager, roadmaster, and two trainmen.
It is the 37th railroad in Watco's portfolio. It started operations March 8.
I assume this is the Talleyrand Terminal Railroad?

I assume this is the Talleyrand Terminal Railroad?
It seems Watco has dropped the Talleyrand Terminal name and re-registered it. JXPT are the new reporting marks.
I suspect that Watco is going to get some new switching business beyond Talleyrand and a name change was warranted.
Ock probably knows more of the details.
Does this include the new yard at Dames point?
