It's been closed for years and nothing has come in there yet. It's still got its sign up even.

They are coming back! Not in Baymeadows, but in Regency.

If you take the time to take off the rose-colored glasses of your late-night youth you'll realized that Miami Subs was a tacky sub-par chain that went downhill fairly quickly in the 90's. Part of the problem was that big-ass menu. It's like that old saying, if you try to offer everything you often end up mastering nothing. The subs, burgers, and gyros were so bland, fries were way too greasy, the bread late at night was stale enough to satisfy termites, and the Baymeadows and Regency stores around the mid-90's were some of the filthiest saddest places to eat in the county. Good luck with their revamping but they got a lot to prove to get me back there.

Ate there once back in college and broke out in hives. I'll pass.

Speaking of menus that are too large, I worry about Larry's Giant Subs. I enjoy their subs, but anytime I take someone new to one, they get a blank look on their face when they see the size of the menu.
