I actually think this was great work from both the Dems and the Republicans. A rare bipartisan gem where both sides didn't appear to be too self-serving.

Notice the section on Warrants (how the taxpayers could actually end up profitting from all this) and the congressional oversight committee.
i'm particularly happy about these two amendments.
again, overall, i'm very satisfied how the 2 parties came together relatively quickly (would've LIKED it to have been quicker, but whatever) and developed what I see as a fair plan. much, much better than the alternative.
let's just hope the markets can weather the storm until Wed, when it is expected to finally pass.
