WATERBURY, Vt. | Mooove over, Holsteins. PETA wants world-famous Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Ice Cream to tap nursing moms, rather than cows, for the milk used in its ice cream.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is asking the ice cream maker to begin using breast milk in its products instead of cow’s milk, saying it would reduce the suffering of cows and calves and give ice cream lovers a healthier product.
The idea got a cool reception Thursday from Ben & Jerry’s officials, the company’s customers and even La Leche League International, the world’s oldest breast-feeding support organization, which promotes the practice â€" for babies, anyway.

I'd like to know how they would plan to harvest said breast milk... Instead of cows lined up in the pens with Milk'o'matic 5000s strapped to their teats will it be women? :)
Sounds more like a prank then a serious effort, at least if it was any group but PETA. Like the time we had a problem with a guy that messed a certain stall in the men's room every morning at work. I told the janitor to wipe it down with M-Acid, which he did. Within 20 minutes the guy came sailing out screaming "MY ASS IS ON FIRE!" But then the janitor wasn't the brightest bulb in the pack either, so when he decided to start short cutting EVERY job, I gave him the formula for OCKS-Super Cleaner.... Convinced him "they" don't want you to know about it because "they" must sell cleaning products. So he went off with a bucket of bleach and a bottle of ammonia. Hee Hee
He ran out the back door and quit. We aired out the restroom and the crisis was solved.
