Anyone see this from CNN

Great publicity! I wonder how many locals know anything about this?! I know I had absolutely no idea until about 2 years ago when I happened to come across our film history while reading the "Jacksonville" Wikipedia entry to answer a friend's unrelated question.
It is a real shame that we don't have any type of museum for that here. I hold high hopes that Mooneyhan can revive our movie industry.
The article indicates that there is an effort to create such a museum - anyone have pics of the location(s) and additional info? Seems intriguing, but more of a civic (pride) thing - not a destination, imo.
Great find civil! how did you run across this?

hmm - I really hope this grows legs. For a city that seemingly lacks identity, Jacksonville should seize every opportunity to sensationalize & capitalize. I recall an older post (a la Stephen Dare) stating something to the effect of "Jacksonville being a city that turns it's back on it's history". When you drive through North Carolina, the license plates read "First in Flight" - although that statement can be debated (by Michigan's Augustus Herring), it's still an accepted association that has merit. All the buzz lately with the Mooneyhan posts & now this has really piqued my interest......Jacksonville's history should be celebrated & conspicuous just as soon as you hit the city limits.
JACKSONVILLE - "First in Film"
Hopefully Mooneyhan Films can pull it off.
Great article!!
