Just curious, where's that main picture taken from?
Observation Deck of the Ambassador Hotel?

Looks like the Lighthouse in St Augustine / Anastasia Island.
If it is from the lighthouse in St. Augustine, why is it on the visit Jacksonville site? Isn't that sending a mixed message?
Oh, I was going to go with downtown First Baptist's lighthouse.
That is definitely the St. Augustine Lighthouse.
The Visit Jacksonville site covers the whole NE Florida region, so a picture of St. Augustine is not out of line.

I heard they have "ghost hunts" at night. Some of my friends went and said they give you some EMF meters and stuff and let you go up there with lights out etc.. they said they heard and saw some wierd things.
The nightly "Ghost Tours" are really neat too. There really is a lot of history discussed in the walking tours about all of the nearby cemeteries and old homes. Worth checking out.
It's a great place to visit, but one hell of a climb. My legs were like rubber when I came back down, and I walk 6 miles a day.
