I'm a bit disappointed about BJ's not coming either.  I go there whenever I'm in Orlando.  But alas how about them not putting in the Starbuck's?  Those other 4 in Town Center are just way too far away from this location!

CostCo has been in that location for quite some time, and is therefore well established in the immediate area.  Maybe BJ's decided that they wouldn't be able to effectively compete literally next door to CostCo?

Anymore scuttlebutt on the removal of the traffic light on Gate-entrance of CostCo?  That new light on Town Center is running now - can't wait for more traffic pile-up around that intersection.  The rest of the new 9A/JTB interchange can't open fast enough.

BJ's Brewhouse. Not BJ's Wholesale.

At least we are keeping Chipotle, mmm.

I think BJ's Brewhouse will open eventually here, they may have had to take a step back due to the economic conditions. I can see them at Town Center, Orange Park, and St. Augustine. Those 3 locations would serve it(BJ's) well.

Definitely dissapointed in finding that out too.  That being said, I was hoping for a Yardhouse more than a BJ's though.  If nothing else, this will make even more beer enthusiasts head over to Bold City once it opens.

Yes, but you can drown your sorrows in a homemade IPA.  ;)

i pass this site everyday on my way to work... Seems odd they haven't put Best Buy on the poly signs yet.  Thx for the photos though, Ennis, it's nice to see a still as opposed to moving in my car lol.  If you jump over to metjax forums, I had put up this list of "removed from site map" tenants a lil while ago. i'm glad it's getting a lil more publicity on metrojacksonville.com.  i hear EQ3 is another foreign wholesale furniture company kinda like Bo Concept.  There's a proposed "feul station" on the new site plan.  most of the places removed from the plan were restaurants, coincidentally.  the cj banks and christopher banks were replaced with izod and van heusen.  the loehmann's was a weird choice.  "bass" - don't know if it's a fishing shop or a guitar shop lol.  the only worthwhile addition to the area, for community's sake, is the CVS!

i am excited for best buy coming so much closer to my work and home. Also Chipotle is welcome. the only mexican food I can have is at Tijuana Flats without getting into my car. Moreover, Chipotle is good food.

However, that area is a motorists nightmare. There is a high density of traffic, very few lanes and too many turns and intersections. I hope the city has something planned for that.

It's actually a shoe shop.  They have outlet stores in St. Augustine and Darien.

The traffic has been bad on Gate Pkwy since it opened. I usually go in through St Johns Bluff and the traffic isn't nearly as bad.

Get used to it, its not going anywhere.  That intersection is the perfect example of a spot that will not benefit from more lanes.  What we need in that area is a system of alternative parallel routes, instead of driving all traffic into single roadways.

You're in the SS/Baymeadows area, right?  Have you ever been to Cha-Cha's?  It's in the shopping center where Old Baymeadows meets Baymeadows, on the other side of Baymeadows from the strip mall with Chili's and BW3 in it.  It's not that far from the Tijuana Flats location.  It's not the greatest, but it's OK.

thx, i was actually at DSW today and saw some Bass shoes and it clicked lol.

side note: both of the new lights at the town center/markets are fully functional, which adds about 2 mins to my drive in for work.
