JACKSONVILLE -- The EuroGood news frompeans are coming.
One of Europe's largest cold storage logistics companies is expected to announce its plans to make Jacksonville its North American distribution headquarters by the end of the year. Aside from three to five senior management positions, the more than 100 employees, with annual salaries averaging $50,000, will be sought domestically.

Cecil? Westside Industrial?
Unilever is also making a distribution hub in Jax. Me personally being from Holland and working for a European company here in Jax I expect more and more collugues from Europe to set up base here in Jax.
It is the Asian influence from the port. Shau southeast sushi is opening a distribution facility near the airport tomorrow. Employing about 100 people when fully staffed. The Asian ships coming this way make this city one of the prime distribution points in the Atlantic ocean.
Hopefully now we can get some great new European restaurants in Jax.

I want a good French restaurant.
Try Pastiche on Herschel Street. They are very good. I really like Crush too (on Park Street in Avondale) but they are no more. It should be reopening soon though (if not already) as a new French restaurant in the same location.
