One commenter on the TU story said they would never leave Mandarin to see a show in 'crack alley'. The show was scheduled to take place at the Times-Union Center for Performing Arts.

Amazing that someone from Mandarin, a community generally thought to be better educated and a step above some of the neighbors, could come out with something so completely STUPID! Can we get permission to start re-education camps for local media and political idiots? Don't worry, I'm never that serious, but just so the jerk in Mandarin knows, WE KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE! HEE HEE.

Yet if that is the perception, something needs to be done about it.
