Me too!

Does anybody know if it is in the plans for Crispy's and Hyperion to remove their ugly metal security shutters? I hope so, as it will go a long way to help Springfield shed it's former bad reputation.

^Yeah, when setting this one up, over the weekend, I noticed the amount of projects coming online have jumped significantly. Springfield and Murray Hill may be the main reasons. There's a lot of activity in both of these areas that wasn't taking place a year ago.

It's crazy how many things are happening in Springfield and Murray Hill.
Very exciting times!

I think they're just making it not a safety hazard.

Noticed the Animal Hospital building across from the East San Marco site seems to be adding a floor or two to the top of their building.

That's number 62 on the update.  The animal hospital has moved to St Nick (big upgrade) and I think that building will be office space.

Does anyone know what's going on with Crane Ramen? I asked the question in another thread and it was deleted for some reason...

Thanks, Cap. I just skipped right over it. I guess they're anticipating some real demand if the apartments come online. Prices in San Marco are ridiculous now.

QuoteThe Haskell Co. received city permitting approval to build the foundation for a seven-story, 812,000-square-foot, 2,200-space parking garage for Baptist Health at 1051 Palm Ave. on the Southbank. The foundation is a $200,000 project.

Quote• The city approved build-out for Hyperion Brewing Co. in Springfield at 1740 N. Main St. next to Carl's Main Street Restaurant. The Malle Co. Inc. is the contractor for the $178,220 project to renovate more than 3,000 square feet, the first phase of the 5,500-square-foot project. Plans show a brew house, tasting bar and seating. Owner Alexandra McKeown said there still are steps to go through before predicting an opening date, although she hopes for spring.

Quote• B3 Mission LLC, owned by the Maple Street Biscuit Co. founders, applied for a certificate of use to open B Street Eats in Murray Hill at 1173 and 1179 Edgewood Ave. S. The 3,157-square-foot restaurant will seat 99. It will be next to the Maple Street at 1171 Edgewood Ave. S. B Street Eats features "casual Latin flavors" and has one location open in St. Augustine.
