Couldn't find an existing dedicated thread on this, surprising.

After a year or so pause in progress, 1101 N. Main Street, corner of 1st & Main, now known as "Main Space", formerly home to the Pearl night club, is now visibly moving forward again.

Interior demo has been ongoing over the last several weeks & the exterior is now being renovated. New windows and job paint being done now.

Update:

Just over a year and half later, the building was sold yesterday.

A low key construction office going in on the 2nd floor, with an event space on the 1st floor.

Update: the 2nd floor offices will be occupied in February 2019. The 1st floor will be used as an event space branded The Brick & Board, open around May. Marketing for that will begin in several weeks.

Also, the long vacant community garden on the property will likely be reinstated. No timeline for that.

Brick & Board??  Will they be serving gourmet sandwiches on either bricks or boards?  Can we please get past the Noun & Noun naming convention?

If you think this is bad, just wait til they start naming restaurants like law firms
