Here is a cool system that is small, cheap, makes $$ (IF YOU NEED IT TO) and can be tied to every hotel and venue on the walk. Think about the possibilities of being the first American City with this toy. WOW!

Very cool... I have to wonder how hot they would be here in Jax... 98 degree day, body heat... all plexiglass with sun shining in... whew....
I was thinking of that troll, but looks like they could be open sided, perhaps a safety bar on the sides in place of the door. At least one image I've seen looks open. Of course in bad weather or winter we might order them with the door as an option.
I can just see these guys lined up at the Hyatt, or Landing gonig back and forth. Toss in Baptist, San Marco Skyway Station, Atena, Crown Plaza...etc... and the possibilities on either bank would be incredible.
And DON'T QUOTE me saying that they could replace the Skyway or help or etc... this is fun transit, more in the form of a gym, a scenic tour, or tourist attraction. It might blend well with a 1930 vintage streetcar better then a new BRT bus. The crowd would be the same. Can you imagine Spring Breakers finding this downtown or at the beach.... well...maybe not!

If this system doesn't have anything to do with the current ASE system that we already have, then I'm not interested in it; Sounds like a waste; A potential nother' "White Elephant". Jax NEEDS this idea like I NEED bottles of Moet/Crystal, some serious bling-bling from Jacobs, and a two-hundred thousand dollar coupe. Peeps often are really stretchin' for unnecessary things in this city. Just my opinion.
