Title: Track Trump
Post by: coredumped on January 23, 2017, 03:45:17 PM
Nifty website to track Trump on all his promises:
http://www.track-trump.com/

Scroll down and look at the colored bullets on the left. Click on them for more details (green means done, yellow in progress I believe)

And of course, they also tweet:

When he said "drain the swamp" what exactly did he mean?

When he said "Mexico will pay for the wall" what exactly did he mean?

I'm truly curious, because the guy is a giant sound bite with no experience to draw upon.

I'm also curious about his propositions regarding trade.  The Headlines read "In blow to Obama's legacy, Trump......"

well if he fucks everything up (and there is at least a 50% chance he will) that's not much of a blow to anyone's legacy.

I'm pretty sure 90% of all the Trump product lines are made in China.  (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2016/08/26/how-many-trump-products-were-made-overseas-heres-the-complete-list/?utm_term=.ef2f635488f7)

Will he bring the manufacture of all those items back to the US?

I'm invoking Godwin's Law.  During the Olympics in 1936, Hitler re-recorded all of this public address radio lectures so that all the foreign press wouldn't freak out.  He changed the topics from getting rid of the Jews to "draining swamps" to get rid of insect pests.  Locals understood the allegory while foreign press just thought he was real hygienic.
