Turns out the Trump Foundation is a clusterfuck of illegal contributions and other unlawful acts (at least one of which Trump has admitted) and Donald Trump didn't donate a penny to his own foundation from 2009-2014. It's being investigated by New York's attorney general and will no doubt cost Trump a lot of money.
$25,000 donated to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi (R) who was then investigating possible charges against Trump university. Guess what!!!!! She declined to prosecute. I wonder why she did that?

Misuse of the foundation tax free status goes beyond Clinton and Trump. Even Howard Hughes oil company was a foundation for crying out loud.
Susan Komen's foundation transitioned from an honorable cancer gig to a fund raising racket to prop up executive salaries.
There are still honorable foundations out there.
