Haven't found much on Rutherford's stance on Trump beyond his wife being pro-Trump. Any insights? Working on my absentee.
During the debate, Rutherford gave essentially the same answer to this question as many other Republican elected officials: he was supporting Trump as his party's nominee, but he was not his choice of candidates. I believe he, like Tanzler and Ray, said he voted for Rubio. For what it's worth, I don't believe Rutherford has made an official endorsement or made much noise about supporting Trump. Either way, the November election is basically nominal in this district, Rutherford has effectively won already, much as Al Lawson has one CD5.
He's pro-trump.
