I find it interesting that while I recognize that the sample size for this poll is not very good, perhaps it does represent the idea that because of the frank discussions over the pension issue that have occurred on this forum, the voters were far better informed and so the referendum lost. In the general vote, the vast majority only had the somewhat misleading rhetoric from the Mayor and the various mailings to go by and so being less informed, it appeared to be a good idea. I wonder what percentage of the actually voters out there had any idea that this was not a cast in stone fix and now the unions have to agree, which they will in exchange for something, for it to go into effect.
