Title: Blues Bars around town?
Post by: benmarcus on August 24, 2016, 08:33:37 AM
This Chicago boy is aching for a dose of the Blues and word on the street is, this city has some to share. I unfortunately am not familiar with the right establishments, being new and all. Would love suggestions for where I can grab a beer and a listen.

And I'll add another vote for daves music. Check their calendar for specific nights. And of course, Jax has the largest Jazz fest outside of the Big Easy each year :)

The Parlour behind Grape and Grain has (or did have) regular blues nights. A friend of mine used to play there but I haven't seen them recently.

If you ever venture towards Tallahassee, the Bradfordville Blues Club is a must see, or hear as the case may be.....
