Not for nothing but....

Country's Largest In-fill projects
#1 Hudson Yards - 28 acres: Brooklyn (NYC)
#2 Miami World Center - 27 acres: Miami
#? The District - 30 acres: Jacksonville

Nice renderings btw.

^I noticed that too. However, #1 and #2 are actually under construction and located in proven markets. After being in Jax for a while, I'll believe the District when the ribbon cutting ceremony takes place.  I also think you'll find some urban developments consuming more acreage if we start checking in cities all over the country.  Even Tampa and Orlando have downtown projects that probably covers more acreage. Nevertheless, what they may be more accurate on is the amount of square footage and density for a single private development. Projects like The District are suburban in comparison.

Just wondering what Miami is going to do to protect itself from rising seas.  Lot's of press saying intrusion already starting.  Dikes won't do the job due to sitting on porous lime rock.  I have heard that insurers and financiers are already backing away from some South Florida risks.  Of course, Governor is in denial so why not join him? :)

Miami will just do what Springfield did;  move the whole town 10 miles down the road.

Nice project but isn't this just another glass high rise hotel/condo project?

Yes like most of their other projects, hotels, condo, convention? does Miami really need more convention space?but hey they got the money for it. Every time I visit the skyline has changed
