Thanks for the correction. My source was a February Jax Daily Record article linked here:

JTA pursuing grant that could help alleviate train backups on Southbank
https://www.jaxdailyrecord.com/showstory.php?Story_id=547071

However, JAXPORT applied for a $24 million TIGER grant to upgrade rail infrastructure at Talleyrand:

Jaxport applies for $24 million TIGER grant

The JTA applied for a $22 million FASTLANE grant for the downtown Jax rail enhancements:

Local project in the running for multimillion-dollar federal grant

The article has been edited to reflect this information.

JAXPORT or JTA?

JAXPORT applied and lost.

JTA applied for a different grant. No word on the status of that one. Keep your fingers crossed for JTA.

The Jax Daily Record article I used as a source, mixed up the grant names and agencies.  The linked Jax Biz Journal article above list them correctly. Based on this, the article has been edited.
